“Modernisme.0” is a cutting-edge VR experience that delves into the core of Catalan Modernism, blending architecture, art, and nature. Built entirely from custom 3D models designed in-house, the experience immerses users in a meticulously crafted environment that reinterprets Modernist aesthetics in a digital realm. The journey is designed to offer a multi-sensory experience, where the visual, auditory, and spatial elements come together to create a cohesive narrative. This immersive environment not only showcases the historical legacy of Modernism but also redefines it through innovative digital artistry, inviting users to explore an abstract, symbolic world that transcends time and space.

This scene seeks to reflect, with the greatest possible realism and fidelity, one of the cradles of modernist thought and art: its bars.

We explored every detail, from the woodwork of the bar, the furniture, floors, and ceilings, to the glasses, tableware, cutlery, and bottles; from the distance between tables to the glass of absinthe inviting us to dream. Each element contributed to recreating a scene that feels alive.

We visited (of course) emblematic places such as Café Marsella, collected period material such as posters and propaganda with modernist art, and even brought back to life a copy of the legendary magazine L’AVENÇ, which opens wide in front of us to draw us even further into this world.
